Maumelle Chamber Announces New Executive Director

Tara Davidson - Monday, June 22, 2015

The Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the selection of  Alicia Gillen as the new Executive Director at the Maumelle Chamber of Commerce.  Alicia has been a resident of Maumelle for over 16 years and lives in Maumelle three daughters Shayla, Nicole and Julia.

She is very active in the Maumelle community and is involved in the Maumelle High School PTSO, Maumelle Relay for Life and Counting on Each Other just to name a few.  Earlier this year she was awarded the Retta Patrick Award from Pulaski County Special School District.  This award is given to the individual volunteer who contributed the most volunteer hours at a High School level within all of the PCSSD.

With over 20 years of  marketing, public relations and event planning she is a natural fit to this position.  She was most recently the Director of Development for Special Olympics Arkansas.  However, her most valuable position was previously as the Executive Assistant for the Maumelle Chamber of Commerce.  Her presence in the community,  knowledge of the inner working of our government and connections with our local commerce make her a perfect fit for this position.  The Maumelle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors knows that her enthusiasm and experience will propel the Chamber to new heights.

Please feel free to stop by the Chamber office Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm to say Hello and welcome her back to the Chamber.  You can also reach her anytime at or by phone at 501-851-9700
