The Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for helping assist in board activities, publications, coordination of monthly announcements, receiving visitors, preparing invoices, and assisting in special events that help maintain the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce Mission and goals. 

Starting pay is between $9.50-$10.00 based on qualifications and experience.  Part Time Flexible Hours.  Highest consideration will be given to applications received prior to August 21, 2015,  Interested parties should submit a resume to

1st Annual Cardboard Boat Race

Armed with cardboard, duct tape and a few other odds and ends, participants use skill and ingenuity to transform these materials into a vessel for the water.  Not only does their ‘boat” need to be quick, but it must be capable of carrying passengers as well.  Teams of two will design and construct a boat to participate in a race held at Lake Willastine on the 4th of July.  This is a great team building project for businesses, and a fun and entertaining event for spectators to watch.   read more
